When you think of witch trials, I guarantee that the Salem Witch Trials come to mind. But have you ever wondered if other countries did the same terrible thing? In modern culture, witch hunts/trials would typically be believed as beginning and ending with the Salem Witch Trials in Massachusetts in the 1690s, however, Canada has its own dark history when it comes to witchcraft.

Episode 04 - Canada's Most Famous UFO Case | The Falcon Lake Incident

In 1967 during the May long weekend, an amateur prospector from River Heights, Winnipeg named Stefan Michalak ventured into Whiteshell Provincial Park to search for quartz and silver at Falcon Lake. After finding a spot to begin prospecting he was interrupted by two flying objects that glowed red. One of these objects landed in front of him. Stefan observed the object and eventually got closer. Upon returning home his family saw him fall ill and took him to the hospital where Doctors and nurses were shocked by his story but even more shocked by what they saw on his body. What happened to Stefan Michalak? Did he see a UFO? Or was this an elaborate hoax?

Episode 03 - The Mysterious Death of Julia Johnson

On April 25th, 5-year-old Julia Johnson played with her tennis ball outside her house while waiting for a neighborhood friend to get home from school. Only, her friend would never meet to play with her as Julia had disappeared without a trace. 9 years later, her body was found in a boiler in a building behind her house. How did Julia Johnson end up there and how did nobody know what happened to her? 

Episode 02 - The Legend of the Wendigo

The legend of the Wendigo originates from First Nations tribes of North America. These tribes consider the Wendigo dangerous as they are powerful with a thirst for blood. The Wendigo has the power to infect the minds of people and turn them into blood thirsty monsters with the insatiable desire to kill and eat other humans. Maybe the legend of the Wendigo is true or maybe this is a story just to scare people. We will let you decide.

Episode 01 - Clarenville, 1978

RCMP James Blackwood from Clarenville, NL responds to a call of a UFO being spotted in the sky. He arrives at the scene and is witness to an aircraft in the sky. He observes it moving for over an hour before it flies away at unworldly speeds. This event is considered one of the more credible sightings as every major news/media outlet covered the story all across Canada.
